Tammi E. Smorynski

Tammi is a corporate venture capital consultant and instructor with the Global Corporate Venturing Institute.  Tammi is also a substitute High School teacher at Valley Christian High School. 

Prior to joining the GCVI, Tammi was a Managing Director, Intel Capital, at Intel Corp for 24 years.  She worked with over 100 portfolio companies, was on 5 boards and a board observer for more than 60 companies.  She had 3 successful IPOs, more than 25 M&A exits and worked on more than 25 private placements/winddown transactions.  She assisted w/ the divestiture of Intel’s RFID transceiver business to Impinj.  Prior to Intel Capital, Tammi was with J.P. Morgan & Co., where she focused on leveraged buyout transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, she was an Audit Officer at J.P. Morgan & Co. covering a diverse set of investment banking operations from derivatives trading to global custody.

She passed the CPA Exam in 1991 and earned an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and a bachelor's degree in Accounting/International Management from Georgetown University.
